History:The Battle of Honey Springs was an American Civil War battle, an important victory for Union forces in their efforts to gain control of the Indian Territory. The battle was also unique in the fact that white soldiers were the minority in both forces. African and Native Americans made up significant portions of each of the opposing armies.
Investigation: On October 22nd 2010 EOPS went to the Battle of Honey Springs located Near Rentiesville, Oklahoma (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Honey_Springs) to do an investigation. The team scanned the area with voice recorders, video cameras, flash photography and with our own personal discretion. There were several noises, and eerie feelings on the battlefield late at night, one investigator even personally heard footsteps to the side of her, this being when nobody was near. A photograph was taken above one of the memorial tombstones, and clearly there is an orb above the memorial. The theory of orbs Found oxidized somewhat round metal ball, and black beads around a tree leading to the water.

Investigation: Later that evening EOPS went to an abandoned house near the battlefield. We have tried to do research on the house but have come up with nothing as to the history of the old abandoned house. The home is owned by the Oklahoma Historical Society. They will not disclose information at this time. To get to the house it is a long walk in the woods on a thin trail, when you finally reach the house it is like your breath is taken away. The eerie, broken-down home is placed alone in the middle of nowhere. You can enter into the house through only the basement, the floorboards in the main level of the house are brittle and would probably fall with any weight. We set up cameras, and voice recorders and started the investigation. Clark Davis, lead investegator starting asking questions. At first there was nothing, then whatever was in the house made contact. As plain as day and to all of our ears we heard two knocks, and we all heard ďGET OUT.Ē We all ran out the door like amatures in fear. EOPS decided to go back to the house the next evening, this time we had more equipment and a better microphone. We star ted asking the same questions, to try to get another response. We waited, asked questions and we got nothing. Then it started, there was a board hanging from the wall, and it began to swing rapidly, then would just stop, and would continue to swing after a few moments. We heard footsteps up stairs, and knocks, doors creaking then we heard running. We eventually left, and all felt pretty much drained. We plan to go back to the abandoned house when we get more information on the old homestead. Investigation preformed in basement of house.
